I've been involved in photography for over 30 years but always in a semi-serious way.  I took a few good photos, but it was mostly by accident!

I found my soul mate in Valerie and we became what our friends call "Middle-Aged Newlyweds" on New Year's Day 2004.  Life has been a blessing ever since.  We soon discovered a shared interest in photography and the fun began in earnest.  We also share a dedication to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and God has blessed us with the time and ability to pursue our hobby.

 We've started to get a fairly nice collection of images and decided to start this web site so we could more easily share them with others.

Mike sums it up quite nicely and I don't really have much more to add.  I had a slight interest in photography in high school, but didn't pursue it much further.  Mike and I talked about different hobbies we could share, and we came across one that we both enjoy equally.  We take pictures of the same things, but in many instances they look totally different because we see things differently from behind the camera - that makes it a fun hobby to share because we get to compare two perspectives.

 God has blessed us in so many ways and photography has just increased our awareness of His awesome gifts of creation.  From the smallest bug to the largest mountains, there are blessings from God all around us.  Offer thanks for what He gives you each day!  We do!
